Rob Watson Songwriter-Singer-Musician

Rob Watson

Rob Watson - singer/songwriter/troubadour....with acoustic guitars and harmonicas at hand, he plays some of the great rock covers from the 60s and 70s in a style that leaves folks asking for, "just one more, please."

Born in Carbon County, Pennsylvania, Rob was raised in Northern Virginia during the tumultuous 60s and relocated to Kansas in 1975. As with so many others that infamous night in February 1964, the desire to play guitar and sing was ignited in Rob as he sat watching The Beatles on Ed Sullivan. Rob says,"It was my sister who first taught me to play guitar in 1966. My first song was House of the Rising Sun." It continues to be included in his repertoire with a blazing harp solo."

Rob's material ranges from songs of faith and redemption, to songs of love, hate, freedom and revolution, in styles ranging from folk ballads to rock to the blues. Rob is actively booking gigs and he continues to write new material to record in the studio.

Since 1979, Rob has continually enjoyed writing and performing his original music. He has a growing catalog of songs to draw from as he performs. He has completed and released his debut 5-song EP in June 2014. You can find it on iTunes, CD Baby, or wherever Rob is performing.

Rob is currently working on his next studio project, due to be released late Fall 2015.
